: I recently returned to school to complete a degree in computer science and I would like to become an IT specialist or Database Administrator. Before my current job, I was in the US Army as a Psychological Operations Sergeant and before that, I was in the US Navy as an Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Plane Handler). I am proud of my time in the military, but it's a young person's game, and I'm getting older. Until about a year and a half ago I lived in California. At that time, I got a promotion within my company and fortunately, I was able to move to Florida with the promotion (although we still want to relocate to Orlando from where we are). I have no true official training in IT, but during my time in the US Army, I did a temporary detail for about 6 months where I helped our IT specialists and I enjoyed it. I have always enjoyed tinkering with computers and about a decade or two ago I used to "build" my own.
